Presentation: Stimulating Sustainable Economic Growth: Can we help by supporting Strategic and Business Planning? by Frank Schwartz
FANRPAN is a regional policy research and advocacy network that works to promote a food secure southern Africa free from hunger and poverty. With a regional secretariat in South Africa and nodes in 12 member countries, FANRPAN facilitates links and partnerships between government and civil society, and builds capacity for policy research, analysis and dialogue in southern Africa. FANRPAN has requested assistance from Deployment for Democratic Development (DDD) in revising its eight-year Strategic Business Plan (which defines its mission, objectives, planned activities and human/financial resources), and in assessing its governance and management structures. This DDD initiative will help FANRPAN put its plan into operation, strengthen its country nodes, provide additional information on financing and human resource needs, develop monitoring and evaluation elements, and attract additional donor funding.
